Kleinetics: The Meaning Behind the Term
The term “Kleinetics” is a combination of two words from different languages:
  1. ‘Klein’ in German, which translates to ‘little’ or ‘small’.
  2. ‘Kinetics,’ derived from the Greek word ‘kinesis,’ which denotes movement and the study of energy in motion.
Together, ‘Kleinetics’ embodies the essence of movement and energy during a child’s golden development period.

Kleinetics Story

Recognizing the Issue

In 2016, driven by concerns about her children’s health and the rise of lifestyle diseases among young patients, Dr. Tejal Kanwar identified a gap in comprehensive physical fitness programs for children within the community and schools nationwide.

Step 1
Step 2

Identifying the Gap

Traditional physical education classes lacked structure, leaving children without the necessary skills and engagement for a healthy lifestyle. Motivated by global initiatives, Dr. Tejal partnered with a fitness expert and an MMA coach, already involved in the fitness and wellness industry.

Piloting Engaging Programs

Together, they piloted programs like mixed martial arts, boot camps, fitness games, and sports to engage children effectively. Research revealed the alarming trend of children becoming less active and more sedentary, leading to preventable injuries and lifestyle problems.

Step 3
Step 4

Recognizing the Need for Change

Dr. Tejal realized that playtime for children needed to be reimagined in a digital world, requiring a structured, enriching, and stimulating approach while preserving the joy of childhood.

Birth of Kleinetics

Driven by this vision, Kleinetics was born. The initiative started with a demonstration program at a local sports club, where almost 100 children participated enthusiastically, and the response was overwhelmingly positive.

Step 5
Step 6

Community Support

Mothers witnessed the tangible benefits and became the driving force behind Kleinetics by spreading the word within the community.

Growth and Impact

Today, Kleinetics thrives, attracting schools and pre-schools seeking a holistic and engaging approach to their children’s fitness and sports. This is the ongoing success story of Kleinetics, a roadmap from identifying a problem to creating a positive impact in children’s lives.
